Opening day at the Malta International Winter School 2020 organised by The Physical Oceanography Research Group at the University of Malta and the Commonwealth Small States Centre of Excellence

CALYPSO South featured in the Malta International Winter School organised last week by the Physical Oceanography Research Group with the Commonwealth Small States Centre of Excellence. The project was presented as a new technology providing essential data for oil spill response, search and rescue, safer navigation, risk assessment and fisheries management. The course participants from African, Caribbean, Pacific and SE Asian states visited the HF radar at Ta’ Barkat which forms part of the CALYPSO HF radar network.
